The 13th most densely populated city - Sialkot - is situated in the north-eastern side of Punjab. The city is recognized as one of the most industrialized in the region. Moreover, Sialkot is also considered the ancient Sagala where Alexander the Great built his settlements. Most importantly, Sialkot is the birthplace of the national poet - Allama Muhammad Iqbal - thus holds national significance.
